The winning captain of the 2017 Pakistan Super League (PSL) is in Pakistan to take part in the tournament’s fifth edition which starts on February 20.
Sammy is one of the most renowned international players playing the PSL. Sammy toured the Quaid’s Mausoleum alongside team owner Javed Afridi during his visit to the country last year. Embossed in a traditional shalwar kameez, Sammy entered the last resting place of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah holding a Pakistan flag and paid tribute to the founder of the nation.
Sammy, a die hard biryani fan, was often seen expressing his love of the local food.
“From day one, I have enjoyed the culture. I enjoy the experiences. That’s why I’m playing cricket,” said the West Indian cricketer, adding that he found shalwar kameez really nice to wear and liked biryani.
